My Professional Certification/Training Goals for 202X

While everyone is going to make their “new year’s resolutions” I had been thinking of.. What would I like to do in 2023, in an ideal world? (where money isn’t an issue, that is).

In terms of professional development there are a couple of trainings and certifications I would like to go for. Not only to brush up on some of my knowledge and to learn more, but also because, well, certs. (I hope some of you may get that joke.)

Thoughts on the new VCP-VMC 2022 exam (and I passed!)

VMware has launched a new certification. The VMware Cloud Professional – VMware Cloud 2022 certification (yes, that is a mouthful to say over Zoom). In short, let’s call it VCP-VMC 2022 for now.

It was first introduced in this post from VMware. This certificate aims to prove that the holder has sufficient knowledge of the different VMware Cloud offerings. Such as VMware Cloud on AWS, VMware Cloud on Dell EMC, Google Cloud VMware Engine, Azure VMware Solution.. you get it.
